Who I was with?: Erick, Ate Shine, Kiara
What happened this day?:

• Arriane had gone to quezon city for a vacation till sunday
• Had a fun day with erick, kiara and ate shine
• Kiara's really cute today
• Found out that ate bell's going to come back in the Philippines 'for good' again

Whereabouts: Erick's house, Cardinal Hospital, Burgoo [Greenhills], Greenhills Shoppesville [ate shine bought pastillas], kabila [my cousin's house, two houses away from ours]

tamad na naman ako magsulat. anyway, my christmas was great!:D arriane and i did charity as we gave goods to the homeless people around manila. It was done on the midnight of December 23 along with erick, ate shine and PSI's [erick's dad's company] employees. well i was sick by then so i was just inside the car sharing their excitement as arriane and ate shine run toward the homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, then they will shout "Merry Christmas po!!!" sabay iwan ng goods beside where the unfortunate people sleep then takbo kagad pabalik ng car. haha! that's because you'll get cornered by countless homeless people if you don't run back to the car and go to another area. It was fun!

I'm alone in this house til Sunday.. err.. sure there's lola, em-em and maid but there's a big possibility that I might run out of things to do [alone] and eventually might get bored. I should have gone with Arriane in quezon city but my over-protective boyfriend disapproved of that plan. Oh well, erick's coming over tomorrow. It's more than enough to make me happy. :D New Year's just around the corner! Happy New Year people!!:)

waaaaaah!!! nakakatamad mag-update!!! argh... i mean marami naman akong pwedeng isulat sobrang nakakatamad lang! well here's a quick recap of what happened these past few days..

• lumalabas na tunay na kulay ng iba kong classmates in college [saying bad things about their own friends]
• realized how lucky i am to have my closest friends in college who will never ever say bad things about other people..
• had been to all of the malls around the metro for more pre-christmas shopping
• missed my bestfriend. :(
• had our christmas party last saturday at erika's house
• missed intrams
• had cut bio for greenhills [1st time!:D macy kc eh.. haha]
• erick "interviewed" the carolers [without any instruments and were not singing but more like shouting] in their house. haha! the kids didn't know the meaning of Christmas, the difference between Pasko and Mahal na Araw, where Santa Claus lives, where Jesus was born, etc. And yet they're singing bout Christmas.

hmm.. that's all i can remember. [forever tamad.]

pesky favoritism

i had been super busy this week with my prelims and thinking bout gifts. i hadn't got the chance to post this entry which i made last sunday (arriane's birthday). Anyway, I'm still going to post it sayang naman.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.13 days to go!:D Haayy.. I badly want to buy Christmas gifts for friends and family na. I came along with Erick to the fort yesterday. I waited at his car till his class was finished. I slept while listening to the Ford event beside the lot where we were parked. Wave 89.1 hosted the event and it included RC race for kids, showcase of Ford cars, free tune-up for Ford cars and even test drive for new Ford cars. It took Erick an hour to break my torpor. Market market was our next stop. We were supposed to eat lunch there but I saw the Gifts Section so I asked Erick to take a look. I was already planning to buy gifts then but we were in a hurry because it was already 1:30 p.m. by that time. We have to meet his mom kasi by 3:00 at megamall. So I (we had a petty fight kaya wala na daw siyang gana kumain) ate then we went to mega. Erick's phone was lost last Monday during his duty at a squatter's area in Taguig. We were supposed to buy a new phone with his mom. We canvassed phones while waiting for her. It was already 3:45 and yet there's still no shadow of his mom so Erick decided to eat first. We set off to Carl's Jr. till his mom arrived and ate with us. Most of the cell phone stores there only accept cash that’s why we had a hard time finding one who accepts deferred payment. When we already found one, his mom called the bank and found out that crediting's not available till Thursday. Erick and I were really disappointed. I really, REALLY hate favoritism inside the family! You have no idea how they inadvertently show that Ace gets to be the all-time favorite of their family. Ace got to buy his phone the same day he told his mom to buy him one. Buti sana kung kinikeep niya yung mga binibili sa kanya na phone eh binebenta din naman niya after. Tapos ngayon medyo nagrereklamo mom ni Erick na mahal daw yung gusto niyang phone eh hello?! Hamak mas mahal naman yung phone na binili ni Ace. Besides, Erick saw his mom's wallet that day. It had a stack of cash pa nga daw eh. Ugh.


Why is there such a depraved concept of favoritism? Just why can't some parents treat their children one and the same??

nursing night

intrams started last wednesday. it was held at the marikina sports center. well the xenoliths were doing great so far. though we failed to nail the seniors down on the first game of men's basketball, we victoriously won the men's and women's volleyball as well as some categories on the track and field. i was with macy, jen, pia, karen, artus, & paul the whole day. we did a lot of chatting, laughing, eating, walking, and a little bit more of laughing [paul kasi eh. haha.:D]

because of the typhoons that hit the Philippines, there were no classes last thursday and friday. it was amazing that a lot of people were donating stuffs as well as money to those who were affected by the typhoons [especially for the Quezon victims]. actually i was expecting a lot more of rainfalls, wind, etc. from Yoyong because the news stated that Yoyong would be a serious matter. it was good though that it hadn't conflicted worse damage than the previous storm [i forgot the name]. it was funny though how erick described the latter as 'supot'. haha!:P arriane was becoming more and more a humanitarian! [yeah right.] when i got home last tuesday, i was surprised to see mountains of clothes on the hallway! when i scanned the clothes, its as though arriane's planning to give away all my clothes! i saw a handful which i still use and even some which are my favorite pambahays! too much of a humanitarian i must say. :D i mean she should have consulted me first. she said its part of the program of the student council for the home for the aged and bahay ampunan. she said that she's going to suggest to divide the donations to three and include the Quezon victims on the list. erick stayed last thursday and friday here at our house. arriane and erick played Dark Alliance for the said 2 days.. ugh. while they were enjoying on what they were doing, i was also enjoying on what i was doing. i cooked two new cuisines.. haha. well, at least for me they were new. i cooked beef terriyaki [with weird ingredients] and shrimp tempura. hehe.. ang babaw. it was yummy anyway.


friday was nursing night. we had mr. and ms. nursing pageant. the talent portion of the scyons, archangels, and phenomena men were really funny! the audience went wild laughing and screaming. the second year guy's my favorite. he had an interpretative dance like tarzan using modern music. his back-up guy dancers were funny as well. hehe.. there also had been awesome performances by kitchie nadal, spongecola and akafellas. karen's a good friend of spongecola guys pala. she's from ateneo for 2 years and a sem taking up biology when she realized she it's more practical to take up nursing. so there. she wanted to talk to yael daw that's why the eight of us waited beside his car and the van of their band. she introduced us to the other bandmates. my goodness, girls were drooling over yael! tsk tsk, kawawa naman. haha. a friend of a friend even told karen, "karen, friends na rin tayo ha!:D" haha. it was really funny. by the time yael got to his car he was on a rush na because they still have a show in LSGH daw. it was funny though how pia kidded around by acting like an obsessed fan with matching himas on karen's cheeks [because of the quick beso-beso goodbye with yael]. i honestly am ignorant about filipino bands. haha. yael's the only one i know from that band and yet i can't remember his face. hihi. all i know is that their music's cool.. i think that's good enough. :D with jen, pia, macy, paul, karen, arriane and artus, we ate at a carinderia specializing in barbecue [Ihawan ni Vivs] in front of RM for dinner. ate two orders of rice. haha. when we got back to RM, jen introduced us to jun [his 'friend'] and, to arriane's and my surprise, jun's friend jorel who happens to be a guy along with his friends who asked arriane's number way back before in a mall. small world huh?:D i can still remember when arriane told me about that incident at metro east describing the guy as maputi, matangakad, and hindi mukhang jologs. haha! she also said that they look like basketball players. it was just last night when we discovered that jun and jorel are from the UE Red Warriors pala. she also said before that the one who asked her number was a tall, dark man who said that jorel's too shy to ask and [dark man] just pointed to jorel outside the music store [where arriane and nikhola hurriedly went inside to because they noticed a bunch of guys following them]. the funny part is that that guy could have been canaleta. haha. he's a good player all right but i find his appearance funny. hehe.. ang sama. don't get me wrong, i am no red warriors fan but a full-pledged blue eagles fanatic. arriane was kinda young then but they assumed that she's a colege student na. A common misconception. anyway, erick picked us up at around 9:30. G4 was our next stop. we watched national treasure. it was okay. it resembles some thoughts of the da vinci code though when these 2 are to be compared, national treasure's just 3 chapters of da vinci code.


now it's sunday and i missed church again. hate myself for that. i'm just going to finish my assignment in Philo. it's so looooong.. bad prof. erick's still not texting. there's nothing from my cel the whole day. i have this strange feeling that he's angry with me again. i don't know why. he's always angry. haay.. lablayp nga naman.

em's special day

finally. ginanahan din akong magupdate. hihi. last week was all about school, school, and school. [yeah right. haha.] tests, long assignments, recitations, and reports hit like one big slap on my face. im glad i passed those days. last thursday, the day when the jeepney drivers had a strike, we had no classes. yay for us! spent the day with rina, marga and erick. we watched alexander; my treat. :D i told them treat ko na kasi hindi ko naman sila natreat nung birthday ko eh. :D better late than never right? about the movie? no comment. haha. see for yourself..


these past few days erick's worst illness attacked.. jealousy. he acted hysterical! he was and is still jealous of artus. can you believe? obviously he can't distinguish friends from more than friends. even though he hasn't met artus yet, he has no point of being jealous of him. he always goes like "ano? magkikita na naman kayo ng lalaki mo?" haha! nagiging paranoid na naman si 'by.


i was with him the whole day saturday. since his class was only for an hour, i waited for him at market market na lang. i went around with a stern goal of finding a nice pair of Chucks. too bad i hadn't succeeded with my mission. it’s just not the place for that. my goodness, i have been craving for Chucks for quite some time now. i should really satisfy that craving don’t you think? :D


sunday the whole day was for Dan Brown. Finally ginanahan na rin akong simulan yung Da Vinci Code. i should have read that matagal na but i didn’t want to start reading it coz i know i’ll have a hard time putting it down. i know cuz that’s what happened when i read angels and demons way before pa. well, like the first book, its extremely attention-grabbing. the whole day wasn’t enough for me to finish the whole book though. i had to extend my imaginary journey to Paris and London to its second day.


monday. it’s a holiday as we all know but what’s more important is that it’s Em’s birthday today!:D she just turned seven now. we had a small dinner here with my cousins, erick and ate trish [kuya gie’s beloved].

shopaholic

SHOPPING! that's what i did the whole day. it was fun yet tiring. arriane and i went to my school first for the evaluation of teachers. after that, macy came along with us to eat lunch. then arriane and i set off to the mall. we met up with erick and maynard. erick was really frustrating.. argh. he was scowling and grumbling the whole time. i told him many times before that whenever i want to shop, he should not go with me. we know how women never get tired of walking and walking around the mall. and we also know how men easily get tired and irritated by that. well maybe not all men but most of them.

stayed at erick's house for a mere 3 hours. arriane and i just played text twist there. ;p erick and ace were busy playing PS2. he's at alvin's house by the way.. it's alvin's birthday!:p i would have not let him go but he promised that they will be all guys there. so there.

there are 2 different parties that are currently happening here on our street. arriane and i can hear the thumping music that's been playing. you know what they say that november's the month with the most birthdays. :D it's true! it seems like everybody's out partying tonight. we envy them. haha. :D miss gimmicks.

next week's gonna be full of quizzes and recitations. too bad. i'm looking forward to our Nursing Night on friday and intrams next, next week. yay! there will be no classes during those days. but for now, studying is essentially needed. ;D

after all, shopping really is good for the soul. :D

movie + driving = fun!

just got home from greenbelt with arriane and erick. watched after the sunset. i find this movie really good.. i mean i really enjoyed it. it’s really funny. hehe.. i practiced driving also but it was just for a while. i drove from taktak to the memorial park in sumulong highway. arriane and erick told me they were freezing the whole time i was driving. haha.. hey, i wouldn’t let our car go off the cliff naman no. hehe..

hmm.. what else happened.. after we bought our tickets we still had an hour to spend. well that was used up in timezone and music one.:D okay i have to sleep now. i have 4 ½ hours of sleep left. ugh.

second sem's fine with me na. even though my sched's better last sem, i'm adjusting pretty good on it. :D we also have new classmates. last friday macy, artus [new classmate from UST], and I ate at wendy's. here's a pic.. too bad artus' in the restroom by the time we took this one.





there were a lot of things that happened these past few weeks. well the worst was.. i crashed bumped erick's car on the [luckily] gutter. haha. i was really scared to death.. you have no idea how he loves his car. -_- he was like.. "shit! baba! baba!!" haha. i was crying at the car on our way home [their house]. we were at shell marcos at that time kc i was telling him then how my driving lessons went good. ciempre he got jealous cuz he always wanted to be the one to teach me how to drive. eh lola kept on insisting na i take formal driving lessons. so there.. back to my story.. i was telling him that we practiced parking on that day. he was like "o cge nga park mo nga to dun." his car's automatic and it was my 1st time to drive an automatic car. when it's already near the gutter, i stepped on the gas instead of the break! haha. then yun na. he told his mom that a big rock was on the middle of the road that's why his bumper was broken. take note, it's literally broken. as in nahati sa gitna yung bumper niya. :D oh well.. after we brought his car to the bumper-fixer he started to make lambing na. hihi. back to normal. :D my driving lessons ended a while ago. my instructor said he likes the way i drive. but i'm a little kaskasera daw. tsaka sometimes namamatayan pa ko eh. i need more practice.. but my evaluation's good naman eh. ;p

hmm.. spent my day [as usual] at erick's house. kiara's really cute today.. take a look.





played Halo with him. ace picked arriane up at sakura then she stayed for a while before we left. kainggit cuz ate shine, glenn, ace and erick were going to watch the last full show of something [forgot the movie]. unfortunately arriane and i couldn't go because of curfew. besides, d naman kami nakapagpaalam eh. :D oh well.. they ended up staying at starbucks. the movie house's full na daw kc. then he's going with ace to their favorite pastime. hmp. he's going home late again.

sem break's kinda boring for me! I mean I don't have anything to do at all. well.. except for eating. :D haha. I might as well try this blogging thing. ;p maybe it'll make me more productive!:D err.. maybe not. oh well.. better than being a couch potato.
